Day 2- Things are getting sketchy

See that picture where my husband is threatening me with a fork while eating a salad. That's what happens when my family is eating on this budget. It's turning into survival of the fittest in the Foster house.....and we're only on day 2. Ok seriously now, I underestimated how much my family eats. I really thought I had done a great job shopping and that the biggest challenge would be not having any snacks. I realized tonight that we are going to run out of meat after dinner on Wednesday (day 4). I'm certain I can pull together one more dinner with what's left but I have no idea what we are going to eat for dinner on Friday & Saturday.

Tonight I also remembered why we always buy fresh or frozen vegetables. Canned veggies are kinda gross. I know that's really spoiled and I should be enjoying the veggies that I have but they are so over boiled that they are like the ghost of actual vegetables.

I'm trying to keep a good attitude so I'm about to go eat a spoonful of peanut butter to brighten my evening.
