What is Holiday Helper?
Holiday Helper is a crucial event that ensures children in the River Valley have access to nutritious meals during the two-week holiday break from school.
This festive event is a mock supermarket-style distribution where families can come together and choose the items to create their holiday celebration meals.
In 2023, Holiday Helper provided over 40,000 meals to 1,000 children in our community.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Businesses and organizations can make an even greater impact by sponsoring the event. Sponsorships help cover the cost of food and essential supplies, ensuring that we can reach more children. Sponsors will receive recognition during the event and through River Valley Food 4 Kids' social media channels.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the heart of this event. We need help with tasks such as registering participants, organizing and stocking food items, and assisting families with loading supplies. Some tasks involve light lifting, bending, and standing, but shifts are limited to 3 hours or less. You can sign up for multiple shifts if you’d like!

FOOD 4 KIDS DURING THE HOLIDAY BREAK
River Valley Food 4 Kids is excited to host its annual Holiday Helper event, where the community comes together to support local children facing food insecurity during the holiday season.
This year's event will be held at the RVF4K Warehouse, located at
3001 East H Street
Russellville, AR
on the following dates:
Friday, December 20
4 PM to 8 PM
Saturday, December 21
10 AM to 2 PM
The program is open to all school-aged children (ages 3-18) and is completely FREE.
Registration will take place on-site during the event, and parents or guardians will need to bring a photo ID along with one form of identification for each child.

Distributions are provided on a first-come, first-served basis in order of registration. There may be a waiting period between registration and your turn through the warehouse.
